Ste. Anne de Bellevue’s historic town hall is getting its long awaited facelift. Work to reconstruct the building’s facade got underway Tuesday, April 2 and, is expected to continue until mid-July. The building dating back to 1907, will remain open during the $600,000 renovation project. A temporary building entrance has been constructed. A security fence has also been installed in front of the building but, it will not close the sidewalk to pedestrians except for three days next week. Excavation work will require the sidewalk to be closed April 8 to 10.
