Four electric vehicles that were plugged into charging stations burst into flames in Shawinigan early Saturday morning.
The fire started at about 12:15 a.m. The government-owned vehicles were destroyed.
The cause of the fire is not known. An investigation has been launched.
Shawinigan is 160 kilometres northeast of Montreal.
