A body in a plastic bag was discovered in St-Eustache on Monday afternoon.
Workers came across the body in a wooded lot near Highway 13 and Grande-Côte Rd. at about 3 p.m., a Sûreté du Québec spokesperson said.
The workers called local police, who in turn contacted the SQ.
Police do not yet know the cause of death or if the body is that of a man or a woman.
St-Eustache is just north of Laval.
