Welcome to Episode 3 of Let’s Do Brunch, a video series in which notable Montrealers have brunch at their favourite spots with Montreal Gazette city columnist Basem Boshra.
Our guest this time is Montreal chef and entrepreneur David McMillan, who, along with his partner Fred Morin, is behind three of the most acclaimed restaurants in the city: Joe Beef, Liverpool House and Le Vin Papillon.
David recently had brunch with Basem at the Greenspot diner in St-Henri, in the Sud-Ouest borough that’s home to all of McMillan’s establishments. They discussed everything from people who take photographing their food way too seriously to why Montreal has the best restaurant clientele in the world.
