Merchants on St-Laurent Blvd. tried to make spring cleaning less of a chore Sunday, enlisting professional artists to ply their trade as citizens collected trash and scrubbed graffiti off walls.
The neighbourhood cleanup was organized by the Société de développement du boulevard Saint-Laurent and featured the works of Montreal-based artists Pony and Jason Botkin.
It was also part of the preamble to Montreal’s fourth annual MURAL public art festival, which begins next month.
