A group of farmers drove a convoy of tractors across the Jacques-Cartier Bridge on Wednesday on their way to Ottawa to protest the importation of diafiltered milk from the U.S.
The group plans to arrive Thursday at Parliament Hill, where they will join Ontario farmers in demanding that the supply management system in the dairy industry be maintained.
