Montreal police and firefighters shut down Berri St. between Ontario St. and de Maisonneuve Blvd. Wednesday afternoon to assess a wall that’s unstable and may collapse.
SPVM spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant said that authorities received a 911 call about an “unsecured wall” on a building. Firefighters are assessing the structure and an engineer was called to the scene for analysis.
No collapse has yet taken place and nobody had been injured.
