Police in Terrebonne have confirmed three young boys, all under the age of 10 who were reported missing Friday morning, have been found.
A woman contacted the force shortly after 10:30 a.m. to say her two boys and a friend — ages 7, 8 and 9 — had left the house where she was watching them, said Terrebonne police deputy director Sylvain Théorê. The mother immediately called police.
The boys were found at about 6 p.m. Friday within the search area.
Police will speak to the children about the “circumstances surrounding their adventure.”
Terrebonne police, as well as the force from Mascouche, a canine unit and Sûreté du Québec helicopters, were involved in the search.
