Mother Nature is really taking this dog days of summer thing seriously and dropping a balmy 30C on the Montreal region today. Meteorologists expect the humidex to be between 33C and 38C. Temperatures could reach 40C in the southwestern part of Quebec and could prompt a heat warning, they said.
The colder weather is expected to move in later Friday night from the west and might cause thunderstorms.
