The mayor of Terrebonne, Jean-Marc Robitaille, is going on sick leave, according to a statement on the city’s website.
Robitaille will step down for health reasons, which were not disclosed, on the recommendation of his doctor for an undetermined amount of time.
Councillor and deputy mayor Clermont Lévesque will replace him, according to the city’s website.
