Montreal police and first responders were on the scene where a man was hit by a car Tuesday afternoon.
Officials received a 911 call around 12:40 p.m. about a pedestrian injured by a car on Wellington St. near Rielle St. in Verdun.
A section of the street was closed off while first aid was given to the victim, a man who appears to be in his late 80s, SPVM spokesman Abdullah Emran said.
Police said they do not fear for the man’s life.
