Montreal police say a 37-year-old man has been rushed to a hospital after a shooting in Lasalle Thursday evening.
A 911 call was made around 5:50 p.m. reporting someone wounded by gunshots near Jean-Brillion St. and Patrice St. The man was injured in the lower body, and police do not fear for his life.
The victim is known to police.
The SPVM has set up a perimeter at the scene and are continuing to investigate with the canine squad. No arrests have yet been made.
