A Molotov cocktail was thrown into the window of a café in Rivière-des-Prairies early Saturday morning causing a fire, according to Montreal police.
The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. at Café Liana, at the intersection of Maurice-Duplessis Blvd. and 6th Avenue.
One suspect reportedly fled in a vehicle.
The fire was quickly contained.
Investigators from the Service de Police de la Ville de Montreal are looking for witnesses and images captured by surveillance cameras.
