You’re in for something special if you are going to see Don Henley at the Bell Centre tonight. The legendary Eagles co-founder will be playing songs from his four-decade career, including his fifth solo album, Cass County, which was released last year. On the political scene, in Rivière-Rouge, Laurentides-Labelle MP David Graham will make an announcement regarding Kiamika Regional Park. Meanwhile, the federal NDP continues its caucus retreat in Montreal, while the federal Conservative caucus meets in Halifax.

In sports action, the Paralympic Games continue in Rio de Janeiro and World Cup of Hockey action will see Czech Republic vs. North America (in Pittsburgh at 3:30 p.m.), Canada vs. Russia (in Pittsburgh at 7:30 p.m.) and Sweden vs. Europe (in Washington at 7 p.m.).
