A Montreal restaurant was the target of an attack in the before dawn Thursday, when an incendiary object was launched through a window.
Employees were still at Liége at 3:50 a.m., and they extinguished the fire. Witnesses saw two people flee to the north. No one was injured.
The building is in a mostly residential area at Liège St. and Wiseman Ave. in Park Extension. The police said that despite the vigilance of the employees, firefighters were on site because other incendiary devices were found behind the building in an alley.
A security perimeter was erected around the building, and arson investigators will examine the scene.
