A house in Laval’s Vimont district was completely destroyed by fire Tuesday and Laval police said Wednesday morning that they have not been able to contact the homeowner.
The home on D’Edimbourg St. was flattened by the blaze that began around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Laval police can’t say at this time how many people, if any, were in the home at the time of the fire.
Investigators were at the scene Wednesday morning to try to determine the cause of the fire and to determine whether any bodies are in the rubble.
Laval police spokesperson Franco Di Genova said Wednesday that to his knowledge, officers have never been to that address.
