Montreal’s fire department is organizing open houses at nine stations around the island on Saturday, Oct. 15, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal says people can come to learn about the jobs of firefighters and visit fire trucks.
Stations participating in the open house are:
- Station 17: 4240 Charleroi St., Montreal North
- Station 19: 2000 de Lorimier Ave., Ville-Marie
- Station 30: 5 Laurier Ave. W., Plateau-Mont-Royal
- Station 38: 14201 Sherbrooke St. E., Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles
- Station 41: 7405 Champagneur Ave., Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension
- Station 48: 3616 Hochelaga St., Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve
- Station 55: 401 St-Jean Blvd., Pointe-Claire
- Station 66: 4398 LaSalle Blvd., Verdun
- Station 74: 10 Roosevelt Ave., Mont-Royal
