A 34-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm after a male pedestrian was struck by a car at the intersection of Sherbrooke and Iberville Sts. early Friday.
The 20-year-old victim remains in critical condition and was fighting for his life Friday after being hit by a car at around 2:35 a.m.
Montreal police say the man was crossing Sherbrooke St. at Iberville when the incident occurred.
A 34-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of driving while drunk. Police confirmed that he failed a Breathalyzer test.
