The government of Quebec and the city of Montreal have announced that a registry of condolence messages will be open for the public to sign this weekend in memory of late artist/poet/songwriter Leonard Cohen.

The registry will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the hall of the Grande Bibliothèque.

For those who cannot make it to the Grande Bibliothèque, messages of condolences can also be made online at protocole.gouv.qc.ca/registre.

Cohen died Monday at the age of 82.
