Investigators of the major crimes unit arrested three men Friday in a disappearance file dating from 2014 that is now considered a homicide.
In the summer of 2015, police found the body of Éric Saturnin Emenenguene, 32, of the Lanaudière region.
A French citizen of Cameroonian origin had been missing since July 7, 2014.
The suspects detained are Carl Morin, 29, Pierre Morin, 51, and Francis Perron-Longpré, 29. They appeared in court on Saturday by videoconference.
