Four men have been charged with theft under $5,000 after police spotted them loading up a white pickup truck with stolen goods after hours at a Pointe Claire store.
The arrests were made Nov. 19 at about 10:30 p.m. at an unnamed commercial establishment on Brunswick Blvd.
Initially, the four suspects were spotted by a two police officers in an unmarked vehicle patrolling the area. Police back ups were called in and made the arrests after the men fled the scene.
All four of the men are from the South Shore and, range in age from 20 to 25. One of the four suspects was also found to be in possession of marijuana.
In addition to stolen merchandise, police said, lock-breaking tools were also found in the pickup truck, which was outfitted with a child’s car seat.
