A 26-year-old motorist was seriously injured in an accident that occurred Saturday night in Plateau-Mont-Royal.
According to witnesses, the man was travelling at high speed on D’Iberville St. when he lost control of his vehicle north of Mont-Royal Ave.
The car then struck the central concrete divider on the roadway.
The victim was unconscious during transportation to hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Alcohol was not involved in the incident, according to Montreal police.
