A drug bust in Île-Bizard last month resulted in the biggest seizure of crystal meth in the Montreal region.
The seizure on Beauchemin St. on Nov. 13 was part of an investigation called Opération Abri and yielded 94 kilograms of cocaine, 15 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, five gold bars and $200,000 in cash.
It is being called the most important seizure of crystal meth by Montreal police, Station 3 constable Daniel Maheu said.
The operation resulted in the arrest of Richard Desrosiers, 63, Jean-Philippe Guerette, 33, Michel Bouchard, 53 and Souhila Boumali, 23.
