A 23-year-old man was shot after closing time outside a bar in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough of Montreal on Sunday morning.
Around 3:30 a.m., the man was shot at least once in the upper body at a bar near the corner of Prince-Arthur St. and St-Laurent Blvd. His life is not in danger, said Montreal police spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant.
Police had cordoned off St-Laurent between Prince Arthur and Sherbrooke St. to investigate, but by 7 a.m. the road was again open to traffic.
