Two Quebecers won the Lotto Max $60 million jackpot in Friday night’s draw.
The winning ticket was purchased in Saguenay, at the dépanneur Accommodation chez François. The dépanneur’s manager, Nancy Tremblay, said that the big winners are a couple who regularly buy lottery tickets.
They verified their ticket Saturday morning, Tremblay said.
Fifteen Loto Max jackpots have been won in Quebec, the previous win on Jan. 6. The winning ticket was purchased by a group of 28 in the village of L’Ange-Gardien, east of Montreal.
The winning numbers in Friday’s draw were 11-16-19-22-24-38-41.
