A 13-year-old boy suffered leg injuries after being struck by a snow removal grader in Longueuil on Thursday night, Longueuil police said.
The incident occured on La Salle St. around 8:45 p.m., said Julien Sauriol, a spokesperson for the Montérégie Ambulance Technicians Cooperative (CETAM).
When emergency personnel arrived the boy was “conscious and alert, but in pain,” Sauriol added. Police say the grader accidentally backed into the boy.
The teenager was transported to a hospital in Montreal and his life is not believed to be in danger.
