A man died after a head-on collision Saturday night in Warwick, near Victoriaville in the Bois-Francs, another man was seriously injured.
At around 9 p.m. two cars were traveling in the same direction on Highway 116, when another car coming in the opposite direction veered into their side of the road. The first vehicle was able to avoid a collision but the second vehicle was hit head on.
The driver of the vehicle who veered into the opposite lane died instantly. The other motorist sustained serious injuries but authorities don’t fear for his life.
The exact cause of the crash is not known.
