A video posted by a Pincourt mom on Facebook is drawing attention to bullying on a day aimed at raising awareness about the issue.
Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day, devoted to focusing attention on the issue and raising money for anti-bullying programs across the country.
Melany Barrick posted a video from her son’s school, Cité-des-Jeunes High School in Vaudreuil, that showed a student being bullied by another student before a third person steps in to defend the student being bullied.
The person who stepped in was Barrick’s son, Kevin. On her Facebook post, Barrick criticizes the lack of supervision for the students while also praising her son for defending a student he didn’t know.
