Laval police are turning to the public for help in tracking down two suspects who they say used pepper spray to rob a local gas station in December.

The incident occurred at 1 a.m. at an Ultramar service station at 6400 Des Laurentides Blvd. The first suspect, armed with a can of pepper spray, walked into the station and demanded the cashier hand over the contents of the register while his accomplice went behind the counter and filled a sack with cartons of cigarettes.

The pair then fled the scene on foot.

The first suspect is described as a white francophone male in his 20s standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing a black tuque, black winter coat, red checkered shirt, white sweater and grey pants.

The second suspect is a white male who is the same height and weight as the first and was wearing a black tuque, black cotton hoodie, blue jeans and brown boots with black laces.

Any information on the pair can be given confidentially at 450-662-INFO (4636) or by dialling 9-1-1 and citing file LVL 161209 003.
