A man was shot in Dollard-des-Ormeaux in the wee hours of Jan. 25.
Police were called to a home on Newton St. after a shot was fired at around midnight. Investigators were on the scene Saturday.
A source told The Gazette it was a break-in which woke up the homeowners. According to the source, the couple yelled and the suspects fled after firing one shot.
Montreal police constable Danny Richer said witnesses have been interviewed, but no arrests have been made. The victim was transported to a hospital. His life is not in danger.
Police would not supply any other details.
