Lakeshore Players presents the farce Don’t Dress for Dinner at the Louise Chalmers Theatre, 501 Blvd. St. Jean, Thursday (Feb. 6) through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Feb. 12 through Feb. 15 at 8 p.m., with an additional 2 p.m. matinée, Feb. 15.
The original French version of the Marc Camoletti play debuted in Paris in 1987 and has played in London and on Broadway. It tells the story of a romantic weekend run amok, with unfaithful spouses going to ridiculous lengths to hide their secret lives and a Cordon Bleu chef, hired to cook dinner, getting all tangled up in the weekend’s shenanigans.
Lakeshore Players’ English version is adapted by Robin Hawden and directed by Julianna Kun.
