A restaurant employee in Pierrefonds was threatened with a knife and robbed at gunpoint just before closing time, April 17. Montreal police officer Daniel Maheu, from Station 3, said the 64-year-old victim was preparing to close the restaurant on Gouin Blvd. W., between Fredmir St. and Normand St., at around 3 a.m. when two men entered wearing caps and masks. One suspect pointed a revolver at the victim while the other went behind the bar where the victim was standing, picked up a knife used to cut lemons, brandished it at the victim and ordered him,  in English, to give him money. The victim emptied his server’s pouch and his pockets at which point the suspect ordered him to empty the safe. The victim used his pass card to withdraw $500, but the suspect ordered him to give him everything. The victim explained that the safe was on a timer and another withdrawal would not be accepted for a few minutes. The two suspects fled. Both are described as white, around 25 years old, with slim builds and around 5 ft 8 inches tall. One of the restaurant’s cleaning staff witnessed the crime and there was one client in the restaurant at the time of the robbery. The client, a regular, left immediately after the suspects fled.
