Roadwork along Highway 40 in the West Island will cause drivers a few delays this weekend.
The westbound part of the highway between St-Charles Blvd. in Kirkland and Anciens-Combattants Blvd. in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue will be completely closed between Friday at 10 p.m. and Saturday at 10 a.m. and from Saturday at 9 p.m. until Sunday at 9 a.m.
All accesses to westbound 40 between Côte-Vertu Blvd. and Ste-Marie Rd. will be shut earlier. They will be closed from Friday at 7 p.m. until Saturday at 10 a.m., and between Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 9 a.m.
The detour will be via St-Charles, Highway 20 and Anciens-Combattants.
Eastbound, Highway 40 will be closed between the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue/Anciens-Combattants exit and the access from Morgan Blvd.
The eastbound closing will be in effect between Saturday at 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m. Drivers will be detoured via the Highway 40 service road.
