A woman is out of danger following a single-car accident on Highway 13 near Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport on Sunday evening.
The car rolled over in the accident, which occurred on the northbound 13 near Highway 520 East a few minutes before 7 p.m., Sûreté du Québec spokesperson Sgt. Audrey-Anne Bilodeau said.
Three of the four lanes of the highway are closed at present.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, suffered life-threatening injuries but her status improved Monday morning. The car’s only other occupant, an 18-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, Bilodeau said, adding the driver might have fallen asleep behind the wheel.
