Hundreds of volunteers spent Sunday morning picking up litter on Mount Royal as part of the annual clean up organized by Les amis de la montagne.

For the 25th year in a row, Les Amis de la Montagne association has gathered volunteers to wander through the woods and picnic areas of Mount Royal to pick up litter and recyclables.
The volunteers collected garbage and recyclables and monitored saplings that had been planted in previous years.
The annual ritual has been going on for 25 years.
