A 21-year-old woman faces several charges after a series of alleged incidents involving girls age 13 to 17 in St-Jérôme, police said on Thursday.
Roxanne Auger-Lapointe will be charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, sexual exploitation, Internet luring and exhibitionism, the Sûreté du Québec said.
Auger-Lapointe allegedly spent time around high schools, driving a red Toyota Corolla. She made friends with teenage girls and then interacted with them using social media, police say. As part of the investigation, police searched a home in Ste-Sophie and seized computer equipment, the SQ said.
Police said they have so far met about 15 alleged victims.
