ST-JEAN-SUR-RICHELIEU — The International Balloon Festival of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, the largest of its kind in Canada, takes off Saturday.
Activities of all kinds are offered to the public until Aug. 21.
More than 125 balloons will be on site, with daily flights, depending on weather conditions.
About 350,000 visitors travel to the festival annually.
No fewer than 150 performances will be presented on three stages, including Metric, Half Moon Run, Omi, Yoan, Milk & Bone, Ariane Moffatt, Dumas, Les Cowboys Fringants and Koriass.
