Two pedestrians suffered serious injuries early Sunday morning after a hit-and-run in the Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood of Montreal.
One of the victims, a 25-year-old woman, is in critical condition. The other, a 21-year-old woman, was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident took place around 1:30 a.m., when the two women were crossing Victoria Ave. after exiting the Plamondon métro station. The driver immediately left the scene without helping the victims.
Montreal police say they have few details about the vehicle in question, which they say is pale grey.
