Part of the Ville-Marie Expressway will be completely closed Thanksgiving weekend, from Friday at 11:59 p.m. to Tuesday at 5 a.m., to remove concrete beams spanning the highway. The eastbound lanes will be closed from the de la Montagne St. exit to the end of the expressway. Westbound lanes will be closed from the start of the expressway at Panet St. to the Lucien-L’Allier St. entrance to the highway.
The beams (known as paralumes) at the entrance of the westbound Ville-Marie tunnel, between St-Laurent Blvd. and St-Urbain St., will be removed. Traffic will be detoured to St-Antoine St. and René-Lévesque Blvd.
