A collision between a Repentigny police car and another vehicle resulted in multiple injuries and caused a traffic slowdown on Highway 40 near the intersection with Highway 640 Saturday afternoon.
The two police officers in the car, and the five people in the car with which it collided suffered minor injuries, the Sûreté du Québec said.
The police with the Repentigny force were answering a call at 3:20 p.m. when the crash occurred.
The highway slowdown was described as minor by 5:30 p.m. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
