A man suspected of stabbing another man to death in downtown Montreal earlier this month was arraigned Friday in Quebec Court on a charge of second-degree murder.
Police arrested Chen Hao Zhang, 25, in a Westmount park on Friday afternoon.
On Thursday, Nov. 3, at 11:45 p.m., police were called to investigate a disturbance on Mayor St., near Bleury St. They found a man in his 30s bleeding on the ground. He had been stabbed several times and died later in a hospital.
The death is considered Montreal’s 19th homicide this year.
