Montreal motorists are facing another weekend of roadwork and road closures.
Highway 25: The Louis-Hippolyte-LaFontaine Tunnel will be completely closed from 11:59 p.m. Friday to Saturday at 8 a.m.
Route 138: The Mercier Bridge access ramp to Highway 132 East toward LaPrairie will be closed from 3 a.m. Saturday till 6 a.m. Sunday. Only one lane will be open on the Mercier Bridge toward Châteauguay. Inbound lanes to Montreal remain open, however.
Nuns’ Island: René-Lévesque Blvd. will be completely closed to traffic and pedestrians in both directions under the Champlain Bridge because of priority work to reinforce girders under the bridge, from 10 p.m. Friday till 8 p.m. Sunday. A detour via a local road network will be set up.
Route 132/Marie-Victorin Blvd.: Major work for the installation of modular trusses on the Champlain Bridge will require the closure of Marie-Victorin Blvd. westbound under the bridge as well as several ramps, from 10 p.m. Friday till 5 a.m. Monday. Closed ramps are:
- Marie-Victorin Blvd. W. on-ramp for Highway 10 east;
- Exit 75 off-ramp from Route 132 west toward Champlain Bridge;
- Exit 53 off-ramp from Champlain Bridge to access Route 132;
- Marie-Victorin Blvd. W. on-ramp for Route 132 west
