A man was shot with at least one bullet early Saturday morning in downtown Montreal during a clash with police.
The incident happened around 3 a.m., at the corner of de Bullion St. and René-Lévesque Blvd. Police say the suspect fired a shot at them, and they returned fire.
The nature of the man’s injuries are not known. His identity and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are also not known.
The investigation will be taken over by the Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes.
