A 36-year-old man was stabbed on Saturday around 5:30 p.m. in Old Montreal when an altercation degenerated between two men in front of the Place d’Armes métro station, according Montreal police.
When police arrived, the victim was taken to a hospital and he was in critical condition, but his life was not in danger.
The suspect reportedly fled on foot and the police tried to find him.
A safety perimeter was erected in front of the Place d’Armes métro station.
