Ontario police have arrested a 36-year-old suspect in connection with a 2014 homicide in Lachine.
Emerson Courtney Hennie was arrested this week at a residence in Brampton, Ont., by investigators from the Peel Regional Police force’s Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau after they received information from the major crimes unit of the Montreal police department.
He was arrested in connection with the death in 2014 of Anne Millington-White, who was shot and killed during what police described as an altercation between rival gang members in Lachine.
Hennie faces charges of second-degree murder, attempted murder and discharging a firearm with intent.
